Start-up aviation training company plans to use its existing contacts as the initial customer base to generate short-term revenue. Its long-term profitability will rely on focusing on commercial contracts that will be obtained through strategic alliances and a comprehensive marketing program.  The target market  will be early career commercial pilots (such as flight instructors) desiring to add a multi-engine rating to their pilot or instructor license and commercial pilots already possessing a multi-engine rating but in need of multi-engine flight time to progress their career.  This a large and under served pilot population in the Chicagoland area that must travel elsewhere to build flight time.  The next target population will be non-career pilots with at least a PPL and instrument rating wishing to add a multi-engine rating to their certificate.  In the near term, another market will be experienced non-career pilots wishing to take continuing education courses to enhance their skills and expand their knowledge base. |
